Ramp Services Manager responsibilities and duties may include:
- Planning – rostering and managing leave
- Ensure service levels are achieved
- Maintain close and effective business relationships with customers and various control authorities such as Airport Management.
- Transporting customer baggage to and from the aircraft
- Loading and unloading aircraft
- Operating airport equipment in the ramp area
- Physical fitness required as lifting up to 23Kgs per bag is normal (32kg max occasional)
Position Prerequisites:
- You must have a Current NZ Driver’s License
- You must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance.
- You must pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol testing.
- You must meet Civil Aviation Security requirements.
- You must be legally able to work in New Zealand.
Desirable:
- An NZQA-approved micro-credential or certificate in aviation ground handling.
- Flight Radio Telephone Operator beneficial
