Josh Payne is teaching rangatahi at Rotorua Airport (ROT) and - for the first time - at Whakatāne Airport (WHK) for JNP Aviation Training.
Teaching at WHK is a special milestone for Josh, as it is where JNP Aviation began it's journey nearly 20 years ago.
Josh mentioned that he has seen a great deal of curiosity and enthusiasm during the first weeks and is looking forward to the rest of the teaching term, where he introduces the world of aviation in the 'classroom'. Year 11 to 13 students learn about the industry and take away skills useful for every area in life, such as clear communication. In the first weeks, they already had the opportunities to explore different aspects of aviation, such as Rescue Fire in Rotorua and a visit to the Kāhu helicopter in Whakatāne.
